Gabriel is a senior engineering consultant within the Energy team for DNV GL based in Cape Town. Over the past 11 years, he has led several teams that worked on numerous asset management and engineering projects, energy efficiency projects and renewable energy and energy storage (battery) projects in Southern Africa and abroad. Gabriel was intricately involved in the ESKOM battery project and is currently working with several utility scale developers with submitting bids for renewables and storage projects throughout Africa. Over and above dealing with the complex technical side of the projects, he is also involved in project management and business development.
