Simon is President and General Manager of Asia Pacific Project Business Unit (APBU) of Trina Solar, responsible for solar farm project development, investment and EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) businesses in Asia Pacific region.

Simon played several roles in Trina Solar from 2006 to 2014, including Secretary of Board, Business Development manager and Head of Trina Solar Middle East. When he was stationed in Dubai, Simon created 50% of market share for Trina Solar in the Gulf region from 2012 to 2014.

From 2015 to 2017, Simon worked in Jinko Solar as Overseas Project Development Director.

Simon was keynote speaker in IRENA (International Renewable Energy Agency) conferences in WFES (World Future Energy Summit) in 2013 and 2014.
